Try harder! How young advocates advise on Climate Action in Latin America and the Caribbean

Adolescents and young activists committed to climate and environmental action in Latin America and the Caribbean are part of a generation that seeks to investigate the most urgent problems and offer specific solutions.

To find out their opinions and proposals to address climate and environmental problems in the region, UNICEF conducted a survey through the U-Report tool. The results that you will see in this document are divided into three topics:

Government action to address the [current] climate and environmental crisis in the region, taking into account young activists’ proposals.
Involvement of young activists in local and national processes of negotiation and decision making on climate and environment.
The needs of young people to participate in decision making.
