Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergencies and Humanitarian Settings
Children and adolescents in humanitarian settings are often subject to duress, and harmed by the interruption of health services, loss of social networks and limited opportunities for learning. Adolescent mental health influences the next generation’s leadership, economy and productivity, thus has an important impact on a country’ progress. This document presents the issue, UNICEF's response and programmatic priorities, and the way forward.
