COVID-19 Impact Assessment on Global Logistics and Supplies
This document provides an update on the impact COVID-19 is having on logistics and supplies. It highlights information on the congestion of sea freight capacity and the impact on global supply operations. Even though there is no firm indication as to when the situation is expected to return to normal, UNICEF has adopted a flexible and agile strategy to overcome some of the difficulties. Countries and partners should plan their procurement as early as possible and coordinate with UNICEF Copenhagen the supply delivery.
