Globally, there are 1.2 billion adolescents, making up to 16 per cent of the world’s population. In humanitarian and fragile settings, adolescents face additional risk factors that obstruct healthy development and well-being. This document presents the issue, UNICEF's response and programmatic priorities, and the way forward.
